With an incredible line up locked in featuring John Farnham, Daryl Braithwaite, Kate Ceberano, The Black Sorrows with Vika & Linda and many more to come – Anthems is bringing you a star-studded concert to Canberra’s National Arboretum this November.

John Farnham

In a country of 22 million people, John Farnham is without challenge, Australia’s most successful solo artist, on-stage and on record. With a vast collection of record and song successes under his belt including “Sadie the Cleaning Lady” and “You’re the Voice” there is little denying John as Australia’s national treasure.

Daryl Braithwaite

With over 40 years in the industry, and a recently released new album that hit number 1, Daryl Braithwaite is showing no signs of slowing down. With hits like “As The Days Go By” and “The Horses”, there’s no doubt that Daryl will be bringing an incredible show to Anthems.

Kate Ceberano

Kate Ceberano has been Australia’s high priestess of pop, an award-winning jazz singer, wears the hat of a fine artistic director and, above all that Kate Ceberano is a songwriter with the talent to take a tune to the top of the charts.

The Black Sorrows

The Black Sorrows continue to be one of Australia’s most enduring touring bands and a festival favourite, while earning themselves the reputation as a dynamic live act. Their spontaneous and emotionally driven live performances ensure that no two shows are ever the same. They will be joined by the glorious voices of Vika and Linda Bull to acknowledge a distinctive, versatile and emotionally charged collection of talent.

One of Australia’s most trusted and recognisable names in the entertainment industry, Richard Wilkins will join us to host this iconic line up at Anthems.

A Reserved Seating ticket gives guests an allocated reserved seat behind the VIP admission area. Strictly no rugs or additional seats are allowed to be brought into this area. Reserved Seating welcomes guests of all ages.

Tickets from $89

This ticket allows entry to all areas except for the VIP and reserved seating areas. There are no seats provided and is based on a first-come first-served basis. Bringing your own rug is encouraged. The General Admission area is open to all ages.

All children under 11 must present an Anthems ticket which can be obtained via our ticketing website.

Address: Forest Drive, Molonglo Valley ACT 2611. The National Arboretum is a 10-15-minute drive from Canberra CBD.


Frequent shuttles will be running to and from The National Arboretum Canberra on event day, leaving from City West Carpark and Lake Tuggeranong College. Shuttle bus tickets can be purchased here.


There will be parking facilities at the venue available for purchase for all VIP customers. VIP ticket holders will receive an email with a unique link to purchase the parking tickets. CBD parking will be available at City West Carpark which can be purchased on the day upon entry to the carpark.

When do gates open?

Gates open from 4pm.

What ticket types can access the standing areas?

All ticket categories will have access to the standing area.

Will you accept Companion Cards?

Absolutely! Once you have purchased your tickets please email with your booking number and request for a companion card ticket.

Is there parking?

There will be parking available to purchase for VIP guests, however spaces are limited and we recommend that you book your parking space early to avoid disappointment.

Can I bring the kids?

Absolutely! Anthems is an all ages event, however the VIP area is strictly 18+.

Will I need ID?

Proof of age will be required for everyone over the age of 18yo.

There will be bag searches upon entry to the concert, please refrain from bringing the following items to avoid delays.

  • Aerosols
  • Tables
  • Professional cameras

  • Camping/deck chairs (As the venue is an amphitheatre with a steep slope, we cannot allow BYO chairs)

Will there be shuttles on event day?

Yes, for more information on our event day shuttles, visit “Plan your trip”.

What time do the shuttles operate?

The shuttles will be on a continuous loop from 3pm – 6pm to the National Arboretum, and will commence return journeys from 10:45pm.

Will there be food and drink facilities?

There will be a variation of food vendors to suit all tastes along with a number of bars serving various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No food or drink is permitted to be brought into the concert area.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Anthems has full disabled access and toilets available.

Are there first aid facilities?

Yes, emergency and first aid will be provided for the entire duration of the event.

Can I bring a picnic rug into the concert area?

We encourage General Admission holders to bring a picnic rug into the GA allocated area. No picnic rugs will be permitted in VIP or Reserved Seating areas.

Will there be merchandise available?

Merchandise will be available for purchase on event day.

What if it rains?

Unless advised otherwise, Anthems will go ahead. We highly recommend you bring wet weather clothes, however no umbrellas are permitted. For weather updates, please keep an eye on our website and Facebook.

Is smoking allowed in the venue?

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the venue.

When does the event finish?

The concert will finish at 11:30pm, and the site will close at 12am.

Seating Allocation

You will receive sectional seating allocations prior to the event day via email.

Are prams allowed in?

Prams are of course allowed into the venue, however they will need to be checked into our cloak room if you are sitting in the Reserved Seating area. All aisles and exits will need to remain clear during the event. If you are seated in the General Admission area, we ask that you please fold down your pram during the event for the safety of yourself and other patrons.
